Since I use WP so much, I thought I might add some tips here. This is NOT a primer on Wordpress. For that, you can go here.
I’m having issues with finding the ‘/wp-content/plugins/‘directory.
This is a directory on the server that hosts the website. If you’re using free public hosting offered by Wordpress, you probably do not have FTP access to the server and be able to install plugina. If you are paying for hosting, as I do, then you must use an FTP application to manage your directories. Your hosting service will give you the information you need to know where the directory is. There are a number of good and free FTP applications available for all operating systems. I most often use the FireFTP plugin for the FireFox browser. Your hosting service may also provide you with a web-based application to use.

This free service makes those painful LONG website addresses into short ones, which in turn makes it a lot easier to insert web addresses into your emails, etc.
Also, if you for some reason don't want people to see your real website address, for example, if you use a free website, you can use your “TinyURL” instead.
