Joining is a two-step process for you:

1. You must request an invitation by one of the methods below.
2. If we invite you, we will let you know, and you must then go to the Forums and register there.

For us, it is more involved:

1. We will review your invitation request and (most likely) send you an invitation to register into the Forums.
2. Once we send you an invitation, we manually enter the information you sent us into our online Challenge application database.
3. Once you have registered in the Forums, we authorize your registration.

When all this is complete, you will have full access to the Forums and will be able to enter the Challenges.

Fill out and submit the invitation request form. Please be sure to include all 6 items below (you can copy and paste the list into the email form)>

   * Published - (non-paying is fine)

Write an LH member asking for sponsorship and an invitation. Please tell them:

• Where you are in your writing (if you are an absolute beginner, that is fine, we have no problems with that).
• What you like to write, or would like to write.
• Where you heard about us.
• A preferred username, password and email address.
• Any publication credits you might have.

Wait until we get back to you, and cooperate with any more requests for information that we might have.

If we invite you on board, you'll receive an email letting you know. Once you have that, please do the following:

1. Go here and look in the upper right corner of the page for the Register link.
2. Go through the registration procedure.
3. Wait for us to authorize your registration. You'll receive an email to that effect.
4. After your forum registration is authorized, please go here and introduce yourself in the forums.

You will also receive an email saying that you have been added to the trigger/submittal database. This is just for your information. If you aren't added, you won't be able to join us in the challenges. You do not have to participate in the challenges to be a member, but you should.

Liberty Hall is a by-invitation-only forum. This is to protect us and our writing. Further, it ensures that only people serious about writing and others whom we want to be here, are here. So, don't be offended if you are asked to respond to questions to get in, or are told that you might be invited in. We're just being honest; we do not invite everyone in.

Let us make it very clear - we do not invite known or probable troublemakers - we DO invite people with genuine interest and NO writing experience.
